When the gold coating wears off the titanium x-pole... is it still titanium coated...cos is still feels grippier than normal chrome! _________________

| They would not have chrome under the titanium. It would be down to the stainless steel. |

I think the gold colour wears off the surface before the actual titanium does. At least that's the way it goes in body jewelry, which is all titanium but the colour still fades eventually since it's just the surface finish that has a colour. "Plain" titanium is a dark silver colour. _________________

| I have 3 gold poles and 3 chrome ones. The gold colour has stripped off all three gold poles but they still feel grippier than the chrome ones. I don't know if its a placebo effect or if they really do still have titanium on them! Its something I've wondered for a while too! |
